Methodology: where the numbers come from
We show our work. Every figure in Money Watch comes from a checkable source — typically:
- Public tender portals — official announcements, bid documents, and award notices.
- Budget and audit publications — state budget laws, execution reports, and audit findings.
- Company and procurement registries — registration dates, ownership filings, and contract histories.
Every brief links its evidence. If a document can't be linked, we say so and explain why. Estimates are labeled as estimates — never presented as fact. Corrections are published openly and promptly: if we get a number wrong, we fix it in the open and say what changed.
